Want your sim to be level 10 in the writing skill? fitness? gardening? No problem! Here’s a handy list of sims 4 skill cheats so you can quickly max out your sim’s skills or set them to whatever level you want them to be. I’ll also give you the skill cheats for children and toddlers, answer frequently asked questions, and tell you the best skill mods for sims 4.

Sims 4 Skill Cheats

To use sims 4 cheat codes, open up the cheat code box using CTRL + SHIFT + C and type in ‘testingcheats on’, then type in the skills cheat. To close the cheats console use CTRL + SHIFT + C again.

To ensure that these skill cheats work properly, make sure you have testingcheats on, you’re clicked on the sim that you want to level up, and that the cheat code is typed correctly. I suggest using copy & paste from your browser into the game to prevent any possible typos.

If you don’t want to completely max out your sim’s skill, you can set your sim’s skill to any level that you’d like by changing the number in the cheat code. So instead of a 10, enter a 4 to set your sim’s skill level at a 4. Here are the sims 4 skills cheats:

Is there a cheat to max all skills in Sims 4?

There’s no cheat for the sims 4 that lets you max all your sim’s skills at once. However, there is a solution! To easily max out all your sim’s skills, you can use the mc command center mod. Once it’s downloaded, click on your sim and into the mc command center panel. From there go to mc cheats, cheat sim info, skill cheats, and max all skills. All of your sim’s skills will now be maxed out.

How do you increase skills in Sims 4?

To increase skills in Sims 4, do the corresponding activity for that skill. For example, to increase your sim’s fitness skill, have your sim work out by jogging or using the treadmill, punching bag, or weightlifting.

You can also increase your sim’s skills by using cheat codes. You can increase the fitness skill by entering the cheat stats.set_skill_level Skill_Fitness 10 into the cheats bar. Change the number to whatever level that you want your sim’s skill to be at.

What are the hidden skills in Sims 4?

Hidden skills are skills that your sim can gain but they will not appear in the skills panel. The hidden skills in sims 4 are:

• Rock Climbing (From Sims 4 Fitness Stuff)
• Skating (From Sims 4 Seasons)
• Juice Pong & Ping Pong (From Sims 4 Discover University
• Work Ethic, Sales, & Maintenance (From Sims 4 Get to Work)

You can still use cheats to level up or max out several of these hidden skills. The rock climbing skill did get updated with Sims 4 Snowy Escape.

How do you cheat the gardening skill in Sims 4?

To cheat your sim’s gardening skill, open the cheats bar using CTRL + SHIFT + C then enter testingcheats on. After you’ve done that, use the cheat code stats.set_skill_level Major_Gardening 10 to max out the gardening skill.

Or to set the skill to a specific level, change the number in the cheat code to whatever level you want to set your sim’s gardening skill to be. (Ex: stats.set_skill_level Major_Gardening 6)

Is there a cheat to improve your writing skill in Sims 4?

To cheat your sim’s writing skill, open the cheats bar using CTRL + SHIFT + C then enter testingcheats on. After you’ve done that, use the cheat code stats.set_skill_level Major_Writing 10 to max out the writing skill.

Or to set the skill to a specific level, change the number in the cheat code to whatever level you want to set your sim’s writing skill to be. (Ex: stats.set_skill_level Major_Writing 4 )

Sims 4 Skill Mods

Sometimes cheat codes can be a pain. I like to use mods to quickly and easily cheat my sim’s skills. In addition, mods for sims 4 give you even more options for customizing and playing around with skills. All of the mods I’m going to share with you are also listed in my must-have mods for sims 4 post because they truly are mods I can’t live without!

1. MC Command Center by Deaderpool

MC Command Center is overall an essential mod for the sims 4. It has SO many features that it would require multiple blog posts just to explain them all. But for the purpose of this post, we’ll just be focusing on how you can cheat your sim’s skills using mc command center. Plus a few other fun little options you have using this mod!

To use mc command center skill cheats, first, click on your sim and find the ‘MC Command Center‘ option.

This will bring up the sim menu. From there click on MC Cheats.

Click on Cheat Sim Info.

Click on Skill Cheats.

And finally, you’ll see the panel where you can max out your sim’s skills, set their individual skill levels, delete your sim’s skills, and randomize their skills.

I really like the randomize skills option! I think it’s perfect for creating fully-developed townie sims for a new save file. MC Command Center is a sims 4 mod that you NEED in your game. I highly recommend checking it out if you don’t already use it.

2. UI Cheats Extension

The UI Cheats Extension mod for sims 4 is one of my absolute favorites. It makes cheating your sim’s entire world much, much easier. To explain the mod in simplest terms, instead of having to type cheats codes into the cheats bar, you can visually click on things in the sims 4 UI (such as skills, needs, money, etc.) to alter them.

I’ll take you through an example of using UI cheats extension to quickly level up a sim’s charisma skill. First, we’ll go to our sim’s skill panel and click on their charisma skill.

Then a box will pop up with all of the skill level options for charisma. We’ll scroll down and click level 8.

And now our sim’s charisma skill is level 8. How easy was that?

As you can see, this mod is INCREDIBLY helpful! I rarely find myself typing cheat codes in since mods for sims 4 make it easier.

3. Talents and Weaknesses Skill Mod for Sims 4

This isn’t a mod you have to have if you want to cheat skills in the sims 4. It actually does the opposite in some respects. But it adds SO much depth to your sims 4 gameplay that I HAVE to share it with you.

This mod makes skill-building more realistic by assigning sims skills that they’re good at and things that they’re not so good at. As you can see in the picture of my sim’s traits, my sim Fernanda is a coding genius and excellent at music, but she struggles when it comes to parenting and fitness.

With this mod, Fernanda will learn coding and music faster than normal and learn parenting and fitness slower than normal. I find this to be so realistic compared to real life. We aren’t naturally good at everything that we try, but with some dedication, we can still learn how to do that thing pretty well.

And the same goes for the other way around, a lot of us are just naturally gifted at things like writing or dancing, so we don’t need to try as hard to learn it. You have to check out this mod if you enjoy realistic sims 4 gameplay!
