I did a similar deal using Eneba a few months ago, getting about 3 years of Xbox GPU for $50. I can't believe this loophole is open, but yeah, if you don't care about tracking your Xbox account and can just have a new one, this is an awesome way to get access to a lot of games. Also, you don't even necessarily need an Xbox - with GPU cloud service, you can play on tablets in theory, and obviously PC. so there's a lot of potential value if the games are of interest.

I posted in here, comment 125, to confirm that i went through the process and it worked perfectly. I was kind of shocked that it worked because it's an absurd loophole and one of my favorite deals i've seen in years on SD.

It took some doing and a lot of reading to understand the code redemption process and repeat it, but it worked like a charm, The fundamental loophole of being able to convert into GPU still remains apparently. Hope this helps, GPU is like a game buffet...it's just nice to have a wide variety of games and good flexibility in playing them thanks to Cloud. I still picked up a used Xbox One X for backwards compatibility with old Splinter Cell games.

So my GPU expires on Tuesday. Can I purchase the Golds now and then add/convert them on Tuesday, or do I need to wait until it has fully expired before purchasing?

Fully expired. Make sure your account says you're not subscribed anymore/expired.

Mine keeps telling me that the code was purchased in another region and cannot be redeemed. I did purchase when I was not on VPN, then I joined VPN, verified it shows I'm in turkey, confirmed I bought a turkey key, but still get the error. I changed all my info on Microsoft to show location turkey and even my Xbox location to turkey... I still get "purchased in different geo"

Ignore the other poster saying you can do it now...

You need to wait for it to fully expire in order to use Xbox Live Gold to upgrade/convert into GPU.

Yes, and you could add more XBL Gold (up to 3 years max) before buying Game Pass Ultimate.
